1 New docs on PXSL anonymous macros {anchor:New docs on PXSL anonymous macros} Anonymous macros are a powerful tool for factoring out repetitive structure in XML documents. They are also easy to use --- once you get the hang of them. Unfortunately, the description of anonymous macros in the {link:PXSL documentation|http://community.moertel.com/pxsl/} was too short and confusing, and I think that many people overlooked this handy tool. To remedy this woeful situation, I have augmented and largely rewritten the portion of the documentation that describes anonymous macros. Please let me know if you find it helpful. (And ~~certainly~~ let me know if you find it confusing.) 1 Site restored after untimely server failure {anchor:Site restored after untimely server failure} The bad news: Weathertop, the server that hosted the Community Projects site, died owing to a power-supply failure. The good news: I maintain an up-to-date, hot backup of the server. Within a half hour I was able to migrate the C.P. site to another server (dol-guldur) a bring it back online. However, a few user home pages that were created recently have been lost because SnipSnap's database rolled back (or otherwise misplaced) some of the more recent transactions.
